Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

This is good for up to 8 blanks or for a combo of 4 blanks, 5 gallons of resin, and glass fins, etc to finish the blanks. On the combo that works out to about $35 per finished board in shipping, which is pretty good.

Shipping more than 8 blanks or a combo? We'll get you a quote before you place the order.

Shipping Surfboard Blanks the Longer Version

Shipping to most parts of the US is $130 for up to 8 blanks or 4 blanks, 5 gallons resin, and materials to complete the boards. We can also usually ship with 8 blanks the glass and fins to complete those at no additional charge.

If we are shipping on the West Coast, Washington, Oregon, California, the shipping charge will be less. We will quote that out at the time of shipment if you'd like. Keep in mind that shipments on the west coast are often under $100.

The first board box is included in the shipping, each additional board box is $15.95.

Shipping Charges above are to a commercial address. A commercial address is defined as a business that has a sign, posted hours, and is in a business area. The final decision of what is a commercial address is at the discretion of the trucking company, usually they don't consider a shaping bay under a banana tree to be a commercial address even if it has a sign with posted hours. Residential deliveries are charged and additional $25 to $65 depending on the trucking company. Don't have a commercial address we can ship it to the freight terminal, your work, your buddies work, the UPS store, etc.

Shipping Surfboard Blanks - More than you might like to know

Many customers wonder why it costs so much to ship surfboard blanks when they don't weigh very much. The cost to ship them is high because of their size and volume. Most blanks are too large to ship on UPS Ground or Fed ex ground and must go on a truck. The trucking companies base their billing off of how much space the blanks take up in the trailer, space that otherwise could be taken up with a heavy item and bill based on the volume and not the weight. Also the trucking companies have what they call a minimum charge. In other words they will take a 1lb package but realize for them it is the same amount of work to ship a 1lb package as it is a 100lb package so they have a minimum amount that they charge to take freight. Often times with surfboard blanks the minimum charge doesn't get exceeded so for the same cost in freight we can ship 8 blanks with glass, fins, and other parts.
